Leaves simple, elliptic-oblong, toothed, under surface glabrous. Inflorescence terminal, sessile corymbs. Flower actinomorphic, pink. Calyx tube glabrous, short lobes, ciliate. Corolla long-tubular, lobes round. Fruit a drupe, ellipsoid, 8-9mm long, reddish black when ripe.
