Our Crude Botanical Repository:

It is a storage facility where unprocessed plant materials are preserved typically for scientific educational, medicinal and research purposes. These plant materials  include  dried herbs, seeds, roots, rhizomes, flowers and other plant parts in their natural or semi processed forms.

Botanical Repository acts as

1. Standard reference for identifying crude drugs and verifying 

    authenticity.

2. Used in practical demonstration for students and researchers.

3. Provides raw materials for cosmetics, food products, pharmaceutical, essential oils and other plant based industries.

4. Help in value addition by enabling local industries to process and commercialize local plants and  plant based products.

5. Acts   as a source bank for cultivation and reforestation.
