Taxonomic Features
Leaves simple, elliptic-lanceolate, leathery, dark green above, silvery on underside, 5-15 cm long. Flower in dense terminal clusters, showy, scarlet-red or red. Sepals ovate, 3cm long. Corolla crimson, bell shaped. Fruit a capsule, cylindrical, woolly. Seed numerous, oblong to elliptic.
