Stem glabrous branched from base. Leaves simple, basal leaves oblong-linear, entire, acute, uni veined. Cauline leaves linear, entire and acute. Inflorescence terminal, 1-3 flowered. Flower showy, dark blue, bell shaped. Calyx lobes linear, entire, acute. Corolla blue speckled with white. Lobes ovate, entire and acute. Fruit a capsule, stalked. Seed numerous, oval.
