Taxonomic Features
Stem leaves ovate-lanceolate to elliptic-lanceolate, basal leaves are scaly, bright green above. Inflorescence a compact, terminal pseud umbel. Cyathium, sessile. Flower surrounded by leaf like attractive yellow bracts. Fruit a capsule, 3-lobed, sub globose, smooth, bright green. Seed ovoid, shiny, pale grey, with outgrowth at hilum.

Medicinal Value
